RB Leipzig have recalled Amadou Haidara from his loan spell at SC Freiburg after he was injured during the match against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
Haidara, who joined RB Leipzig in January on a season-long loan deal from FC Schalke 04, suffered a knee injury while playing for Freiburg and has been ruled out for six weeks.
The news comes as a blow to RB Leipzig's attacking options, with Haidara providing much-needed pace and creativity to their attack. The 22-year-old had made a strong start to life in Germany, scoring four goals in just five appearances for the Bundesliga club.
